What is Single Entry ETA?

Issued for Single Entry to persons whose nationalities require a visa to enter Kenya either for business, tourism, medical or other reasonsSingle Entry ETA is valid for travel with 3 months from the date of issue.

Basic Requirements

  • Valid travel document not less than six months.

  • A Return ticket

Additional Requirements

Depending on the visit's purpose, some extra documents are required as below:

For Tourism

- Hotel booking   

For Visit

- Invitation Letters and Kenyan ID card from the host

For Medical

- Letter from the referring Doctor / Hospital

- Appointment letter from the Receiving Doctor/Hospital

For Business visits

- Attach Copy of Company Registration Certificate

- Invitation Letters from the host

- Staff ID of Person Countersigning

For Work

- Employment Contract

- Invitation Letters from the host

Personal Photo Requirements:

  • Format: JPEG - PDF

  • Without borders

  • Must show your full face, opening eyes, front view with a plain white or off-white background

  • NO SHADOW on the face or on the background

  • Show the full center head from the top of hair to the bottom of chin

  • DO NOT take photograph of or scan the photo in your passport.

  • Must be taken within the past 6 months, showing your current appearance

  • Must be in COLOR

  • Must be taken in normal street attire. Uniforms should NOT BE worn in photographs except religious attire that is worn daily

  • Do not wear a hat or headgear that obscures the hair or hairline

  • If you normally wear prescription glasses, a hearing device, wig or similar articles, they should be worn for your picture

  • Dark glasses or nonprescription glasses with tinted lenses are not acceptable unless you need them for medical reasons. A medical certificate may be required


Visa Fee

The visa fees for Kenya ETA consist of 2 kinds of fee: service fee and Government fee.

  • Service fee is charged for helping you to get Kenya ETA as rapid as possible.

  • Government fee is charged by the policy of the Government of Kenya.
